Regulation for Competence Assessment at the Training / Industry Work Place

 

Assessor Requirements:

 

1.Assessor’s Occupation should be minimum at Supervisory Level as:

•Front Office Department: Front Office Supervisors

•Housekeeping: Housekeeping Supervisor

•Food and Beverage Services: Maitre d’hotel

•Food Product: Sous Chef

•Repair and Maintenance: Maintenance / Engineering Supervisor

2.Certified and recognised by a recognised association or recognised certification Board to assess IHS Makassar students:

•The Assessor should show his/her certificate

•Assessor’s Qualification Certificate should be attached at the student’s Logbook.

3.The Assessor is willing to assist and  guide and assess the student’s practice during the observation, guidance, training and assessment at the students appointed Department/ Section for a period of minimum of 6 months 

4.The Assessor has his/her own email to be contacted by IHS Makassar

5.Declare to agree and approve to be appointed as an assessor for the student/s by completing the Assessor Form and send to the International Master Assessor by email.

 

Students requirements:

1.Has an email address at IHS Makassar  

2.Willing to be assist at any Vocational Education Institution in Indonesia for 1 (one) year.

3.Follow the Industrial Attachment Training for a minimum period of 6 (six) months.

4.Consulting with Assessors at the Industry and Mentors through email and video conferencing

5.Report his/her Industrial Attachment Training Progress by email to Member Services at least once a month.

6.Has received the Logbook for assessment.

7.Apply to Industrial Attachment Training Assessor for her/his assessment and use  the Competence and Sub Competence Forms in the Logbook

8.Send the final Competence Assessment Report by email to Member Service

9.When assessment has been accomplished the Original Logbook should be sent to:

10.When the student has been declared qualified for the competencies assessed, the final report will be sent to the Tourism Hospitality Qualification in Makassar to apply the issue of the National Competence Certificate where the issue of each certificate will be based on the regulation and rules  issued by this Board.
